I had the worst experience in this hotel. The service isn't even worth 1 star, it deserves 0 star. Very rude receptionist. Only friendly towards "bule" But not towards local people. The air conditioner and telephone didn't work. I booked a non-smoking room but they gave me a smoking room. When I asked to change to another room, they offered to spray perfume instead and dismissed my complaint. Shame on you Parkside Hotel. My Bule friend will remember your bad service. Please nudge you receptionist named Eka, so rude and tried to be sarcastic with me.

The best hotel in Takengon.. U can see the lake panorama from this hotel, the food were quite good especially the pasta.. Large parking area and good service from the staff, there's also convenience store and gas station next to this hotel..

We stayed here in the beginning of August 2022. The hotel was brand new. It was open in 2021. The lobby was very beautiful, it was decorated with local ornaments, marvelous to see. Our room 531 had een amazing view to the mountains. The room was big, spacious and comfortable. They also had a nice panorama rooftop to enjoy the pittoresk scenery of the lake and the surrounding mountains The restaurant was nicely decorated. We had dinner there two times and the foods and drinks were from high quality. They have enough mix of western and eastern food. For breakfast: every morning during our stay we always had different kinds of foods. We found this really special because everytime it was always a surprise to find out and see what we were going to eat. Many delicious eastern choices, of course we were in Asia, but we also saw quite a few western foods. The chef always did an amazing job. We found out that he had the experience of working in a few countries abroad. Further, the staff people were excellent: they were were friendly, professional and adequate. We felt homy everytime we entered this hotel. When we needed something changed in the room, they gave us such a quick respond. It was a wonderful experience that other hotels could learn from this. Our elderly mother was with us and she was always comfortable there. ParkSide is for us the best hotel choice in Takengon. If we ever come back to this beautiful city, will we stay here again ? Best hotel in takengon for small meeting only. When you need a bigger room a big column will be in the middle of the hall. Nice breakfast but the coffee not so good although located in the land of gayo coffee. Only one key available for twin room. The shower also not nice eventhough hot water always there

Nice hotel near Danau Lut Tawar, Takengon, Aceh. it's not full operated for service, since the hotel still at soft opening at this time (apr'21). The hotel have a rooftop live music , and we're stayed with kids, so it doesn't suit us.

Location is good as it is just a few minutes walk from the lake. However services might need several improvements though. There were no slippers given, no clear instructions on how to hold the door ( usually hotels have door guard, but instead the door knob has to be turned right in. This takes time to realise as there were no clear instructions on it. ) For some, showering might be confusing but clear instructions were pointed out. Other than that the stay here had been rather comfortable. Wi-fi was perfect, breakfast was good and the view from the room can be breathtaking. Also, there is a sku-lounge where people could take a look of the city from the rooftop.
